The company was formed, originally, as an answer to the needs of the dedicated professionals in the field of Special Education. Our Active Aide® line was developed in consultation with both Health & Safety, and Special Education Professionals. For more than 10 years, we've listened to their needs, and our products are a testimony to the feedback we receive from the people who use our products on a daily basis.
Active Aide® is used extensively in the Canadian Education sector, but we recognize that the challenge to remain engaged with high needs students is not limited by geography. For more than 5 years, we've continued the conversation with Special Educators throughout North America, and can now be found in Schools from Alaska to Hawaii.
Active Aide® is also not limited in application. Our products are currently used in Hospitals, Autism Centers, Group Homes, and Security firms throughout Canada and the U.S.
Part of our success is due to the relationships we've formed along the way. Most notable, is our partnership with Crisis Prevention Institute. CPI is globally recognized as the leader in techniques and strategies for de-escalating aggressive or potentially violent situations in the workplace. Their Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® program is considered the worldwide standard for crisis prevention and intervention training.
